Odds API comparison
PingOdds vs TheRundown
PingOdds and TheRundown are both JSON APIs for sportsbook odds. This page puts them side by side: what each costs, which books and leagues each covers, how fresh the prices are, and how to move a request from TheRundown to PingOdds.
TheRundown’s column comes from its own public pages, read on 23 October 2026; they’re listed at the bottom. Prices and coverage change, so if something here is out of date, tell us.
Pick TheRundown if
- You need DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars, Circa or prediction markets such as Kalshi and Polymarket.
- You need player props, live in-game odds or real-time prices (their Ultra plan, $399 a month, and up).
- You need more leagues (23 plus season variants) or more market types (550+).
Pick PingOdds if
- You need Ontario books, or BetRivers, Bally Bet, betPARX, BET99, Betway, LeoVegas or Proline+.
- You want each call to count as one request, not one data point per price row it returns.
- You want price history on every plan, Free included.
- You want a WebSocket stream at $99 a month: theirs starts on Ultra at $399.
- You want +EV, steam, outlier and arbitrage signals, with webhooks.

"https://api.pingodds.com/v2/odds?league=basketball_nba&markets=h2h,spreads,totals&books=pinnacle,fanduel" One PingOdds call returns every game in the league from 6 hours ago to 14 days ahead, so there’s no date in the path. Books and leagues have names instead of numbers: pinnacle instead of affiliate 3, basketball_nba instead of sport 4.
