Odds API comparison

PingOdds vs SharpAPI

PingOdds and SharpAPI are both JSON APIs for sportsbook odds. This page puts them side by side: what each costs, which books and leagues each covers, how fresh the prices are, and how to move a request from SharpAPI to PingOdds.

SharpAPI’s column comes from its own public pages, read on 23 October 2026; they’re listed at the bottom. Prices and coverage change, so if something here is out of date, tell us.

Pick SharpAPI if

  • You need DraftKings, BetMGM or Caesars, or hundreds of leagues.
  • You need player props, live odds, or prices refreshed about every 15 seconds.
  • You want middles, low-hold and betting-split data.
  • You’d rather have a per-minute rate limit and no monthly cap.

Pick PingOdds if

  • You need Ontario books, or BET99, LeoVegas or Proline+.
  • You want Pinnacle on every plan, Free included: SharpAPI puts sharp books like Pinnacle on its $399 plan.
  • You want +EV and steam signals from $19 a month: SharpAPI’s +EV starts on its $229 plan.
  • You want to know when each price last changed: SharpAPI’s docs say that field is gone.
  • You want price history on every plan, webhooks, and the stream inside a $99 plan instead of a $99 add-on.
