Terms of Service
Effective 20 October 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and PingOdds ("PingOdds", "we", "us"), a sole proprietorship based in Ontario, Canada. They cover pingodds.com, the PingOdds API at api.pingodds.com, the PingOdds MCP server for AI agents, and everything we provide through them (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, ticking the box at sign-up, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and confirm you have read our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. Who we are
PingOdds collects sportsbook odds and makes them available as data through an API, a live stream, webhooks and an MCP server. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and at least the age of majority where you live (19 in some Canadian provinces).
- If you use the Service for a company or other organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for it, and "you" includes that organisation.
- You may not use the Service if the law bars you from it, or if we have closed an account of yours for breaking these Terms.
3. Your account and keys
- Give accurate information and keep your email address current: we send important notices to it.
- Keep your password, API keys and AI agent keys secret. Anyone holding one of your keys can use your plan, and you are responsible for all activity under your account and keys. If a key may have been exposed, revoke it in the portal straight away and tell us.
- One account per person or organisation. Don't open extra accounts to get more free usage.
- Test keys use the same allowance as live keys.
4. Plans, billing and taxes
- We offer a free plan and paid plans. Their features, limits and prices are shown on our Pricing page.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars, through our payment processor, Stripe. A subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel it. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method through Stripe at each renewal.
- A plan change takes effect immediately and is prorated: the unused part of your old plan is credited and the difference is added to your next invoice.
- Prices do not include taxes. Where we are required to collect sales taxes, we add them to your invoice.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and your plan stays in place while it does. If payment still isn't made, your account moves to the free plan.
- We will email you at least 30 days before a price change takes effect. The new price applies from your first renewal on or after that date. If you don't want to pay it, cancel before then.
- Monthly allowances reset on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC, regardless of your billing date. Unused requests don't carry over.
5. Cancellation and refunds
- You can cancel at any time on the Billing page. Cancelling stops the next renewal: you keep your paid plan until the end of the period you have paid for, then your account moves to the free plan.
- Payments are non-refundable. We don't give refunds or credits for partial periods, unused requests or downgrades, except where the law requires it.
- If you delete your account, any subscription is cancelled immediately and the rest of the current period is forfeited, without a refund.
- If we stop offering the Service altogether (section 12), we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.
6. Limits and fair use
- Each plan has a monthly allowance and a per-minute rate limit for the API and, where the plan includes them, for AI agents. Requests beyond a limit are refused; refused requests don't count against your allowance.
- Don't try to get around the limits, for example by spreading traffic across several accounts or sharing keys between people or organisations.
- We may slow down or temporarily block traffic that threatens the stability of the Service for others.
7. Your licence to the data
"Data" means the odds, prices, consensus figures, signals and other content you receive through the Service.
- While your account is in good standing, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to use the Data in your own applications, websites, models and analysis, and to show it to your own end users as part of your product.
- You may not resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the Data as a feed or in bulk, including by storing it and making it available to others as raw data.
- You may not use the Data to build or supply a product that competes with the Service, such as another odds data API or feed.
- You may not present the Data as coming from you or as official data from any sportsbook.
- If you're unsure whether a use is allowed, ask us first.
We and our licensors keep all rights in the Service and the Data that these Terms don't expressly grant you. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to help anyone else to:
- break any law, including the gambling laws that apply to you or your end users. You are responsible for making sure your use of the Data, and any product you build with it, is legal wherever it is offered;
- probe, scan, attack or overload the Service, or try to reach accounts or data you aren't entitled to;
- reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
- point webhooks at systems you don't control, or use the Service to send unwanted traffic to anyone;
- market gambling to minors or to people who have excluded themselves from gambling.
9. Sources and trademarks
- PingOdds collects odds from sportsbooks' publicly available websites and feeds. PingOdds is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any sportsbook, league or team. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to show where a price comes from.
- We may add, change or remove sources at any time, and a source may become unavailable without notice.
10. Not betting advice
- The Data is information, not advice. Odds can be delayed, wrong, incomplete or missing. The API reports how fresh each price is; check it before relying on a price.
- Signals such as steam, +EV, outliers and arbitrage are calculated automatically from that data. They are not recommendations, predictions or guarantees. An apparent opportunity may be wrong, may disappear, or may be refused by the sportsbook.
- Always confirm a price with the sportsbook before betting. You alone are responsible for bets you or your users place, and we are not responsible for betting losses.
- Please gamble responsibly. If gambling is harming you or someone close to you, help is available: ConnexOntario at 1-866-531-2600 in Ontario, or 1-800-GAMBLER in the United States.
11. AI agents
AI agent keys let AI assistants and agents use the PingOdds MCP server on your behalf. You are responsible for what your agents do with your keys and the Data, including anything they produce from it. AI output can be wrong; check it before relying on it.
12. Availability and changes to the Service
- We work to keep the Service running, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we offer no uptime guarantee. Current status is shown on our Status page.
- We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a major feature of a paid plan, we will tell you by email in advance where we reasonably can, and you may cancel.
- If we stop offering the Service altogether, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email and refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.
13. Suspension and termination
- You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account on the Account page of the portal.
- We may suspend or close your account, or revoke keys, if you break these Terms, don't pay, put the Service or others at risk, or if the law requires it. Where it's reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
- When your account ends, your licence to the Data ends. Sections 7 (for Data you already received), 10, and 14 to 19 continue to apply.
14. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the Service and the Data are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express or implied, including any about merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability or non-infringement. Where the law doesn't allow a warranty to be excluded, this section applies only as far as the law permits.
15. Limitation of liability
- To the extent the law allows, PingOdds is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, or any betting or trading losses, even if we were told they were possible.
- Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) CA$100.
- Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
16. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you will defend and compensate PingOdds for any third-party claim, and the losses and reasonable costs that come from it, arising out of your product, your use of the Data, or your breach of these Terms or of the law.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For a material change, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you may be asked to accept the updated Terms the next time you use the portal. Other changes, such as clarifications or changes the law requires, take effect when we post them. If you don't agree with a change, stop using the Service and cancel before it takes effect; using the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms. The date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect.
18. Governing law and disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Toronto, Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you and we both submit to them.
- If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms takes away the protection of mandatory laws of the country or province where you live, including any right to bring a claim in your local courts.
- Before starting a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days.
19. General
- These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and the plan details on the Pricing page, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
- If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest stays in effect.
- If we don't enforce a right, that isn't a waiver of it.
- You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them, with notice to you, as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business.
- Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as outages of sources, networks or hosting providers.
- We send notices by email to the address on your account. You can send notices to us at [email protected].
